Will Switching To E-Cigs save me money?

What is an Electronic Cigarette?

An Electronic cigarette or e-cig is a revolutionary new smoking device which provides an exciting alternative to traditional cigarette smoking. E-cigs are an electronic device that converts nicotine, water, propylene glycol and flavoring into an inhaled vapor that delivers nicotine to the inhaler without burning tobacco.  Smoking traditional cigarettes forces the smoker to inhale thousands of unwanted and unnecessary chemicals along with your nicotine.

Can anyone use E-CIG?

No, E-Cigs are intended for the use by adults only, 18 and over. E-Cigs are not intended to be used by pregnant women and those that are sensitive to nicotine or propylene  glycol.

Are E-Cigs safe?

No one knows for sure whether e-cigs are dangerous or not. Apparently no studies have been done regarding their health effects or effectiveness as cessation aids. However, makers and retailers of the products are making unproven health claims, claiming the e-cigs are safer than normal cigarettes and that they're a product that can help addicted smokers to quit smoking.  Without scientific evidence, these claims are in violation of FDA rules.

Do E-CIGS smell?

No, the vapor has no odor; however you may have a light essence from the flavors of the nicotine juice.

When do i have to replace Cartridges?

You should replace the cartridge when the vapor released by the e-cig is reduced or when the flavor taste becomes light, this is usually an indication that the nicotine in the cartridge is running out or the battery is getting low.

Whats inside the vapor?

The vapor is primarily water, nicotine, propylene glycol, a common food additive found in food coloring and cake mixes and flavor. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance found in tobacco. Therefore, e-cigs are not recommended for use by non-smokers. Nicotine comes in varying strengths of flavored juices.

Whats inside the liquid(smoke juice)?

The main ingredients inside of the liquid are water, propylene glycol and in some instances nicotine.  Propylene glycol is considered a safe ingredient (by the FDA) and it is used in foods and medicine, as well as cigarettes and has many other uses.  Nicotine is considered a poison and is addictive. Another common ingredient (although not in all flavors) is vegetable glycerin which is also considered a safe ingredient (by the FDA).  The liquids are made completely of food grade ingredients, with the exception of the nicotine (because of it’s classification as a poison and addictive ingredient).
