This article provides instructions for removing all AccurioPro VDP software from your version of Adobe InDesign. All AccurioPro VDP software modules are installed into the InDesign/Plug-Ins/Meadows/ folder. Deleting the Meadows folder effectively removes all of the software from your system. Separate instructions are provided for removing and resetting the activation and preference files.

1) REMOVING ALL ACCURIOPRO VDP PLUG-IN SOFTWARE

To remove all of the AccurioPro VDP plug-in software from your version of Adobe InDesign, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Inside of your Adobe InDesign application folder, you will find a folder called Plug-Ins.
2. Inside of the Plug-Ins folder, you may see a folder called Meadows.
3. If you do not have a Meadows folder in this location, then you do not have any Meadows software installed on your system so there is nothing more to do.
4. If you do have a Meadows folder, simply delete the Meadows folder and restart InDesign.
   
   
5. You have successfully removed all AccurioPro VDP software from your Adobe InDesign system.

2) REMOVING ALL ACCURIOPRO VDP ACTIVATION SETTINGS AND PREFERENCES

Occasionally, our support team may recommend that you remove the AccurioPro VDP settings folder, which is where all of the software activation and other preferences are stored. These settings are stored in a separate folder (also named Meadows), which resides inside of your Adobe InDesign Preferences folder.

To remove all of the AccurioPro VDP preferences and activation settings from your version of Adobe InDesign, please follow the steps outlined below.

Macintosh Systems

1. From the desktop, select Go > Go to Folder... from under the menu at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the following path and click the Go button:
   

   ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/​

   This will put you into the main Adobe InDesign preferences folder. From there, the rest of the path to the Meadows folder is as follows:

   [Version #.#]/[language]/Meadows

   The full path to the Meadows folder is as follows:
   

   Macintosh HD/Users/[User Name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/[Version #.#]/[language]/Meadows​

   [User Name] represents your user name on the system
   (enter users from the Terminal to determine the current user name)
   
   [Version #.#] is a folder name that represents the version of InDesign you are running
   (example: 2025 = Version 20.0, 2026 = Version 21.0, etc.)
   
   [language] represents the InDesign language version you are running
   (example: en_US would be the folder for US English)
3. Inside of the Meadows folder, look for a folder named Config.
4. Delete the entire Config folder and restart Adobe InDesign. 
   
   
5. You should be prompted to reactivate your AccurioPro VDP software.

Windows Systems

1. Using File Explorer, navigate to the following folder:
   

   C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\

   This will put you into the main Adobe InDesign preferences folder. From there, the rest of the path to the Meadows folder is as follows:

   [Version #.#]/[language]/Meadows

   The full path to the Meadows folder is as follows:
   

   C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\[Version #.#]\[language]\Meadows

   [User Name] represents your user name on the system
   (enter echo %username% from the Command Prompt to determine the current user name)
   
   [Version #.#] is a folder name that represents the version of InDesign you are running
   (example: 2025 = Version 20.0, 2026 = Version 21.0, etc.)
   
   [language] represents the InDesign language version you are running
   (example: en_US would be the folder for US English)
   
   
2. Inside of the Meadows folder, look for a folder named Config.
3. Delete the entire Config folder and restart Adobe InDesign.
   
   
4. You should be prompted to reactivate your AccurioPro VDP software.
